Built by a teenager

Putting your phone down just became a game.

We all know we stare at our screens too much. Detox Dock makes you want to stop. Set your phone on the dock, watch your time climb, and race your family and friends up the leaderboard.

Coming soon. One dock per person, so everyone in the family gets their own.

Our story

WHY NOT MAKE IT A GAME?

It started with a teenager and a simple thought.

Staring at our phone screens all day probably isn’t the best thing for us. Everybody knows that. The hard part is actually wanting to put the phone down.

So instead of another lecture or another app that locks you out, we made it a game. A competition. Heck, why not?

Compete with the people in your house. Then with friends near and far. And someday, maybe schools against schools. Who knows? But we’re getting ahead of ourselves.

How it works

Three steps. No app to download.

STEP 1

Scan to set it up

Plug in your dock and scan the code on its screen with your phone’s camera. Join your Wi-Fi, then pick your name, your color and your character.

STEP 2

Dock your phone

Set your phone on the dock. The light ring spins in your color and the timer counts every second your phone stays put.

STEP 3

Climb the leaderboard

Your time adds up for good. It never resets, so every minute you put in keeps you ahead of your family, your friends and the rest of the country.

Leaderboards

Beat your family. Then beat everyone else.

Every dock has four screens: your own timer, plus three leaderboards. Tap the arrows to flip between them. Next up? Maybe schools vs. schools.

Built for kids, run by parents

Fun to compete. Careful with your info.

  • Any name you like. A nickname works fine. Nobody has to use their real name.
  • Town and state only. No street address or schools, ever.
  • Parents run the family account. Kids’ docks are set up from a parent’s account.
  • Friends by request. Families only see each other after both sides say yes.
